Includes shaft and belt alignment tools; also machinery shims.

An example such as an electric motor connected to a pump; the alignment of this application should be properly check after the bearing has been mounted. If it is not properly aligned, the misalignment can cause the bearing to suffer additional load, friction, and vibration. These can accelerate fatigue, reduce the bearings & other machine components service life, increase energy consumption, and increase the risk of premature failures.
